The Branch Manager is responsible for leading and directing the engineering department, ensuring the successful development, implementation, and optimization of both hardware and software systems. The Branch Manager will oversee personnel, engineering projects, and department performance while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or 60 credit hours in an electrical engineering curriculum with 10+ years of experience in the electrical controls industry.

At least 5 years of industry-specific experience.

Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience leading an engineering team.

Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware and software engineering.

Excellent leadership, communication, and people management abilities.

Experience with project management, budgeting, and resource planning.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the engineering department, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards.

Direct the achievement of engineering functions, including hardware and software development, system design, and implementation.

Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and execution to meet quality and performance goals.

Review and analyze project quotes, specifications, and design architectures.

Provide mentorship to engineering teams in designing robust hardware systems and well-organized software logic.

Supervise and coordinate training programs to ensure compliance with company QOS policies and procedures.

Develop and implement best practices, standards and procedural improvements for engineering operations.

Ensuring profitability of the department and effective management of engineering resources.

Perform duties of a Project Engineer and Project Manager as required by management.

Provide customer support, including troubleshooting and technical consultation.

Approve purchases of internal materials and oversee department budgeting.

Participate in hiring, performance reviews, and employee development within the department.
Project and Engineering Management:

Lead system architecture design, ensuring quality and compliance with standards.

Oversee hardware and software design reviews and provide technical guidance.

Approve logic, smart displays, and material specifications for project.

Coordinate engineering activities between internal teams and customers.
Department Leadership and Training:

Schedule and coordinate training for engineering personnel.

Ensure compliance with engineering policies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Business and Customer Relations:
