Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Labourer to join our team and assist with various outdoor landscape projects. This role involves working in diverse environments to support the maintenance, construction, and enhancement of residential and commercial landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a strong work ethic, and an interest in horticulture and landscape maintenance.
Duties
- Assist with planting, pruning, and maintaining gardens and landscaped areas
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment such as mowers and irrigation systems
- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes
- Conduct general landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, mulching, and fertilizing
- Support construction activities such as building retaining walls, patios, or pathways
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
- Follow safety protocols during all landscaping and construction activities
Skills
- Experience with gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance techniques
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating mowers, power tools, and irrigation systems
- Proficiency with hand tools used in landscaping and construction projects
- Ability to perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and operating machinery
- Knowledge of construction practices related to landscape projects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good teamwork skills and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
