Tanx Transport Inc is a growing company based in Brampton, Ontario, providing transportation services across Canada and the United States. We are committed to safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence, and are looking for a Safety & Compliance Coordinator to join our team.
Duties
- Ensure compliance with Canadian (MTO) and U.S. (DOT) transportation regulations.
- Process and maintain IFTA, IRP, CTPAT, and U.S. DOT compliance requirements.
- Assist with driver recruitment and training.
- Maintain and update equipment matainence records.
- Maintain driver qualification files, onboarding documentation, and training records.
- Investigate collisions, incidents, and safety violations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate driver safety meetings, training, and compliance programs.
- Maintain accurate safety records and prepare for internal and regulatory audits.
- Conduct other office functions and administrative duties related to safety and training.
Skills
- 3 years of safety and compliance experience in the trucking industry.
- Strong knowledge of MTO, CVOR, IFTA, IRP, Dangerous Goods, and CTPAT.
- Proficient in English and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive manner
Pay: $44,500.00-$49,500.00 per year
