Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and educational activities
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's development and any concerns
Skills:
- Experience working with children in an early childhood setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong caregiving skills, including the ability to meet the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of young children
- Ability to create engaging and educational lesson plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility in working with young children

Pay: From $19.60 per hour
Experience:
- Early Childhood Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred)
- Vulnerable Sector Check (preferred)
