Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cladding Installer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Measure and prepare surfaces according to project specifications using hand tools and blueprint reading skills
- Install various types of cladding materials, including metal panels, composite panels, or other exterior finishes
- Use caulking techniques to seal joints and ensure weather-tight installations
- Operate heavy lifting equipment and assist with the movement of large cladding panels safely
- Follow detailed construction plans and blueprints to ensure precise installation
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to keep them in optimal condition
- Collaborate with team members, carpenters, and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience with construction or carpentry work, preferably in exterior cladding installation
- Proficiency with hand tools such as drills, saws, levels, and measuring devices
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or on scaffolding
- Skilled in caulking techniques for weatherproofing joints and seams
- Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various tasks
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
