We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team as we scale to the next phase in Compass Digital’s journey! This is a unique opportunity to incorporate agility in planning, process, and programs to ensure that our cross-functional teams deliver our e-commerce products efficiently while meeting the demands of the business.
- Become well versed in Compass Digital PMO Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagement
- Visibility and tracking of all project implementations and drive accountability for all deliverables associated with the engagements
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior resources working on their project implementations
- Create and own multiple documentation and artifacts including schedule, milestones, dependencies, and critical path for our e-commerce projects
- Partner with Digital Strategy, Delivery, Product, Configuration, Digital Care, and Development team leads or team members to ensure that well-defined implementation strategies and project plans are in place to drive business objectives to completion
- Facilitate customer and/or partner meetings and articulate business requirements and functional specifications clearly and succinctly
- Provide status reports and communication with customers and/or collaborators on project status and updates including scope, timeline, risks, impacts, dependencies, and contingency planning
- Ensure that projects are delivered within budget, scope and specifications as outlined in the SOW
- Ensure that our customers can serve as a reference upon completing their implementation
- Ensure that there is a clear process for the transition of the project from delivery to digital support
Skills and Qualifications include
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a senior project or similar role
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills for various audiences (technical, managers, executives)
- Shown success leading multiple, complex technology implementations for medium to large engagements
- Certified PMP, scrum master or equivalent experience in agile methodologies (desired but not required)
- Preferable to have experience with project management processes and methodologies for software development and Artificial Intelligence
- Experience managing 3rd party vendors in a project
- Manage customer interactions with diplomacy and professionalism
- Professional Services or SaaS industry experience a plus
- Passion for customer service
- Strong leadership skills including: negotiating, influencing, communication, and problem solving
- Ability to own problems and find solutions with minimal direction
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma is preferred but not required.
