Looking for students willing to learn to assist with service in a fast paced restaurant environment. This position starts as a part time role with full time hours available over the summer. Successful persons in this position are often offered the opportunity to learn to serve food and beverage.
- Receive and record patrons' reservations and assign tables
- Greet patrons and escort them to tables or other seating areas
- Speak with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service, and attend to complaints
- Inspect dining and serving areas and equipment
- Accept payment from patrons for food and beverages
- Clear plate ware and cutlery from tables
- Clean and reset tables for new patrons
- Polish and store glass ware and cutlery as required
