Dial A Bottle Montreal is seeking a reliable and professional Liquor Store Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering a wide range of alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely and courteous manner. Duties
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport liquor orders to customers’ locations across Montreal.
- Ensure accurate and complete delivery of orders, verifying contents and customer details.
- Upsell additional products or promotions when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Maintain proper merchandising of products in the vehicle to prevent damage during transit.
- Manage pricing information and process transactions accurately when required.
- Handle heavy lifting of bottles and cases safely, adhering to safety protocols.
- Organize delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and fuel usage.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, including carrying bottles and cases of alcohol.
- Basic math skills for handling pricing, change, and order calculations.
- Organizational skills to plan routes and manage deliveries efficiently.
- Previous experience in sales or upselling is a plus.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles related to retail or beverage sales is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
This position requires punctuality, reliability, and a commitment to providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deliveries throughout their shift while maintaining safety standards at all times.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
