Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Cleaner to join our team and help maintain the cleanliness and comfort of our clients' homes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment where professionalism and customer satisfaction are prioritized. Prior experience in residential cleaning, hospitality, or related fields is a plus, but we are willing to provide training for motivated individuals. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is a valuable asset. The position involves performing various cleaning tasks, managing time efficiently, and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Prepare and maintain cleaning supplies inventory to ensure all necessary materials are available for each job
- Organize tasks efficiently to complete cleaning within scheduled timeframes
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and address any concerns or special requests
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail in every assigned residence
- Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health and safety standards
- Demonstrate excellent customer service by being courteous, respectful, and professional at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or related fields such as hospitality or housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry procedures, and household organization
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting tasks (up to 25 pounds)
- Reliable transportation or access to transportation to reach various client locations
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing outstanding service
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
