Heavy Duty Mechanic
Top Lift Enterprises is a leader in the sales and distribution of Heavy Equipment, Intermodal Container Handling and Industrial Forklift lines. We are currently looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our Montreal location.
As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various types of heavy equipment, as well as troubleshooting and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
What will you do as a Heavy Duty Mechanic?
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs on various heavy equipment including: Toplift Ferrari container handlers, terminal tractors and forklifts, Link-Belt excavators, Sennebogen scrap handlers, Wacker Neuson full product line etc.
- Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs
- Component swaps, troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Reading and interpreting schematics and programs, with the ability to refer to manuals for spare parts
- Complete hand written orders and record work performed
- Testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe facility, following company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.

What we are looking for:
- 2-3 Years of experience working on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Must have a clean drivers abstract.
- Customer service skills
