Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs for patients with various physical conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a hospital setting. Experience in pediatrics and acute care is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and self-management strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with medical terminology and advancements in physiotherapy practices.
Experience
- A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution is required.
- Proven experience in patient care within a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with pediatric physiotherapy practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of acute care principles and practices is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
