We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Optometrist to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough eye examinations and vision tests to assess patients' ocular health and visual acuity
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribing corrective lenses or medical treatments as needed
- Provide patient education on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using electronic health record systems like Epic
- Engage in sales activities by recommending appropriate eyewear products and accessories
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as an Optometrist with current certification to practice medicine in Saskatchewan
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including children and elderly individuals
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry best practices
