Duties

- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including managing pain and providing home care when necessary.
- Provide preventive care services such as immunizations, screenings, and health education.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Utilize electronic health record systems (such as Accuro) for documentation and patient management.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Engage in research activities to stay updated on best practices in family medicine.
- Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or eligibility for certification.
- Strong knowledge of pediatrics, acute care, pain management, and medication administration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with electronic health record systems (Epic preferred).
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of family medicine.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
