Reporting to the Technical Operations Lead, we are looking for a motivated and customer-focused ‘Print Services and Point of Sale (POS) Analyst’ with 2-3 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily print jobs, coordinating with customers, and providing Point of Sale (POS) system demonstrations to potential and existing clients. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Print Operations & Order Management
- Work closely with the Technical Operations Lead, Solutions and Sales team to support customer projects and operational requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the UI/UX Designer to gather customer requirements and coordinate the creation of print materials, marketing collateral, branding assets, digital content, and POS-related designs. Ensure all deliverables meet customer specifications, quality standards, and project timelines while managing revisions and approvals as needed.
- Handle and process daily print jobs accurately and efficiently while ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
- Review print orders, artwork files, specifications, and customer requirements before production.
- Ensure all completed print materials meet company quality standards and customer expectations before dispatch.
- Coordinate outsourced print, design, and technology services when customer requirements cannot be fulfilled internally. Obtain vendor quotations, prepare customer pricing, secure order approvals, manage production timelines, coordinate delivery, and process payments while serving as the primary liaison between the customer and third-party vendors to ensure quality, timely completion, and customer satisfaction.
- Perform quality checks on printed materials.
- Support operational efficiency and process improvements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
Customer Communication & Service
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding print requirements, pricing, timelines, revisions, and delivery schedules.
- Provide accurate information about company products, printing services, and available solutions.
- Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and coordinate with management for resolution when necessary.
POS System Demonstrations & Support
- Partner with the POS Solutions Sales team to understand customer needs and assist in preparing tailored POS solutions.
- Coordinate with the Solutions Team to deliver POS system demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
- Conduct Point-of-Sale (POS) system demonstrations for potential and existing clients.
- Explain POS system features, functionalities, hardware compatibility, and business benefits clearly and confidently.
- Customize demonstrations based on customer business requirements and operational needs.
- Assist customers with basic POS-related troubleshooting, setup guidance, and general usage inquiries.
- Follow up with prospective clients after demos to answer questions and support the sales process.
- Maintain clear communication between customers and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
Administrative & Documentation Duties
- Maintain records of orders, customer communications, invoices, and service requests.
- Handle customer calls, inquiries, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate schedules for meetings, demos, and project activities.
- Prepare operational reports and documentation.
- Maintain confidential and organized customer and business records.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and printing equipment where applicable.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in printing services, customer handling, retail technology, or POS support.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in giving presentations and demonstrations to customers.
- Basic understanding of POS systems and retail operations is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
- Customer service-oriented attitude with professional conduct.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience working in Retail Technology, Print Shops or POS environments will be an advantage.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage of CAD $20–$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
- Two (2) weeks of paid vacation annually.
