Experience within the security field is not necessary, but a strong knowledge of local and wide area networks, TCP/IP, as well as computer workstations, computer hardware, plus networking and operating system software are required. As most security equipment is now digital, you will be efficiently and effectively networking various devices and systems together. You must be a quick learner and be able to work in various locations across the GTA, as well as being trustworthy and reliable. You will be expected to problem solve and make decisions, as well as work well within a team.
