Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking <PERSON> helper to assist with various construction and renovation projects. This role involves supporting skilled tradespeople in completing tasks efficiently and safely across multiple disciplines including carpentry, scaffold set-up. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and basic knowledge of construction tools and techniques.
Duties
- Perform demolition, restoration, and general construction painting tasks
- Aid in plumbing and electrical work under supervision
- Carry out heavy lifting and material movement safely around the job site
- Support caulking, siding, and woodworking activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety compliance
Requirements
- Prior handyman experience or background in construction preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools beneficial
- Knowledge of masonry, carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, siding, or related trades is advantageous
- Capable of heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments
- Strong attention to safety protocols on the job site
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
- Basic understanding of construction estimating or schematic reading is desirable
