About the Role
We are a growing food manufacturing company looking for a reliable and hardworking Food Processing & Fryer Operator to join our production team.
This is a hands-on role in a food production environment. The main responsibility is to operate commercial frying equipment to prepare high-quality food products. The successful candidate will also be trained to operate other food processing and packaging machines as needed.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in food manufacturing, industrial kitchens, food production, machine operation, or commercial cooking.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, monitor, and shut down industrial frying equipment according to production schedules and recipes.
- Operate other food production machinery when needed, including mixing, forming, encrusting, packaging, or related equipment.
- Monitor product quality, including color, texture, temperature, and overall appearance.
- Perform oil quality checks, filtering, and fryer maintenance tasks as required.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
- Clean, sanitize, disassemble, and reassemble fryers and production equipment according to SOPs.
- Complete daily production records, temperature logs, batch records, and other required documentation.
- Load raw materials into machines and move finished products to the next stage of production.
- Support the production team with general food processing, packing, cleaning, and material handling tasks.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing, food production, industrial kitchen, commercial kitchen, or machine operation preferred.
- Experience operating fryers or cooking equipment is a strong asset.
- Comfortable working in a warm production environment near cooking equipment.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 kg / 50 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to start work early in the morning, typically around 5:00 AM.
- Willing to learn, cross-train, and work with different types of food production equipment.
- Basic communication skills in French or English.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, HACCP, GMP, or hygiene standards is an asset.

Work Environment
