GEM Services is a locally owned and operated pest control company based in Brandon, Manitoba. Servicing southern Manitoba, we provide preventative pest control services to industrial, commercial, retail, agricultural, and residential customers. At GEM Services our goal is to provide the highest quality pest control services to our clients.
Service Representative Assistant - Full-Time or Part-time TERM Position:
This position is a Full-time or Part-Time Term position, depending on the candidate's work availability. It commences immediately and ends at the end of September 2026. During the term, the candidate will work alongside a licensed pest control technician each day. Will be responsible for helping to provide exterior spray services for rural homes, structures, and farms.
-The Service Representative Assistant is provided with uniforms, applicable equipment, and PPE to complete services.
Remuneration:
· Hourly pay is $28.00.
· Additional $2 per hour worked bonus paid out upon completion of the full-term.
· Health and dental benefits are not available for term positions.
· Vacation pay will be paid according to Provincial Employment Standards for each pay cheque.
Requirements
· Driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Personal vehicle to get to and from work.
· Available for drug & alcohol testing and criminal record check
· Must be prepared for early starting workdays, approximately 4-5 am and have a flexible schedule. *No evenings or weekends required.*
· Physical demands – substantial walking, kneeling, moderate lifting (20L backpack sprayer), and ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time
