Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hardscape and Landscape Installer to join our team. This role involves installing and constructing outdoor hardscape features and landscape elements, contributing to the creation of beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, masonry, and landscape installation, with a strong attention to detail and safety. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to bring outdoor visions to life.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently during installation processes.
- Prepare sites by grading, excavating, and setting forms for concrete pouring or other foundation work.
- Install concrete forms, pour and finish concrete surfaces with precision using concrete finishing techniques.
- Lay tiles, pavers, bricks, or stone materials according to specifications for aesthetic appeal and durability.
- Perform masonry work including bricklaying, stone setting, and related tasks.
- Assist with landscaping tasks such as planting trees/shrubs, installing irrigation systems, or restoring existing landscape features.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Skills
- Experience Required with hand tools, power tools, masonry equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, and restoration processes.
- Ability to interpret construction estimating documents and plans.
- Skills in carpentry, cabinetry installation (if applicable), caulking, plumbing basics, electrical experience (a plus), flooring installation, tile laying, welding (optional), and construction painting are advantageous.
- Familiarity with masonry techniques including bricklaying and stone setting.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail.
