Reporting to the Manager, Finance, you will help facilitate the full-cycle accounting of the Company. This includes entering payables and receivables, journal entries; purchase orders; assisting in the preparation of reports and budgets; communicating with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders on accounting related matters; understanding, monitoring, and applying controls; and assisting the Finance Team in preparing the Company’s financial statements in adherence to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). In this position, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to management and staff to facilitate efficient operations. You will support staff with administrative tasks, setting up meetings, taking minutes, managing office supplies, communications support, building forms, and providing support for staff needs. You will assist in the information and records management of the Company including physical files and electronic documents. These files must be organized to ensure that the completeness, accessibility, and confidentiality of the Lonsdale Energy’s records are maintained. You will share responsibility for managing and maintaining the Company’s intranet to provide resources and information to staff.
