Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Automotive Service Technician (Journeyman or Red Seal certified) to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles with accuracy and efficiency. While prior BMW or European brand experience is strongly preferred, any licensed technician with solid diagnostic capabilities and a drive for excellence is encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex mechanical and electrical diagnostics, scheduled maintenance, and system repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards.
- Utilize modern diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to identify root causes efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding diagnostic findings, required repairs, and timeline updates.
- Perform thorough vehicle health inspections and recommend necessary safety or preventive maintenance.
- Maintain clean, safe working conditions and strictly adhere to all shop safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Licensed Automotive Service Technician (Alberta Journeyman Ticket or Red Seal Interprovincial equivalent required).
- Experience: Previous experience with BMW, MINI, or European luxury brands preferred.
- Skills: Strong diagnostic ability, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical expertise.
- Requirements: Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Must own a standard technician tool set.
