Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Carpenters Helper/Labourer to join our construction team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist skilled carpenters with a variety of tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. Prior construction experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided to develop essential skills in the field.
Duties:
- Support concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work as needed
- Help with cabinet installation, flooring, tile laying, siding, and roofing projects
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Perform general construction painting, caulking, and restoration work to prepare surfaces for finishing.
- Support heavy lifting and material movement around the job site
- Aid in assembly of structural components and other carpentry-related tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Skills:
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Handyman experience or general construction experience is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to follow direction and a willingness to learn new skills related to carpentry

Pay: $17.40-$25.00 per hour
