We are seeking a motivated Automation Electrical Engineer to design, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. Experience with electrical design software and strong troubleshooting skills are preferred.
Position Summary
The Automation Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, programming, testing, and maintaining automated electrical control systems used in manufacturing, industrial, or processing environments. This role supports production efficiency, equipment reliability, and system safety through automation technologies such as PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
· Design and develop automated electrical control systems
· Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs
· Create and update electrical schematics and control drawings
· Support installation, commissioning, and startup of automation equipment
· Diagnose electrical and automation system failures
· Integrate sensors, motors, robotics, and control devices
· Ensure systems comply with electrical codes and safety standards
· Work with maintenance and production teams to improve equipment performance
· Conduct testing, calibration, and preventative maintenance
· Assist with continuous improvement and process optimization projects
· Maintain technical documentation and reports
Qualifications
· · Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
· · Experience with PLC programming platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider
· · Knowledge of industrial automation systems and control circuits
· · Familiarity with robotics, SCADA systems, and industrial networks is an asset
· · Understanding of electrical safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures

Pay: $61,800.16-$120,120.59 per year
