Job Summary
Stay at Home Elevating Services is seeking a motivated and client-focused Home Accessibility Sales & Project Consultant to join our growing team. This role involves meeting with homeowners, businesses, contractors, and care providers to assess accessibility needs and provide customized mobility and accessibility solutions.
Our company specializes in stairlifts, wheelchair lifts, home elevators, accessibility renovations, and barrier-free solutions throughout Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. This position is much more than traditional sales — it combines consulting, project coordination, technical problem-solving, and relationship building.
The ideal candidate is personable, organized, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in both residential and commercial environments. Experience in construction, renovations, accessibility equipment, or technical sales is considered a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients on-site to assess mobility and accessibility needs
- Recommend appropriate accessibility solutions including stairlifts, wheelchair lifts, home elevators, ramps, and related renovations
- Prepare estimates, quotations, and project proposals
- Coordinate with project managers, technicians, contractors, electricians, and suppliers throughout the sales and installation process
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain technical information in an easy-to-understand manner
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service
- Follow up on leads, quotations, and ongoing projects
- Assist clients with funding resources and product options where applicable
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and project updates
- Stay informed on industry products, accessibility standards, and market trends
- Represent the company professionally at trade shows, networking events, and community outreach opportunities
Qualifications
- Experience in sales, estimating, project coordination, construction, renovations, or accessibility equipment is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously
- Comfortable learning technical products and construction-related processes
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience reading drawings, measuring spaces, or assessing construction conditions is considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Vancouver Island and surrounding areas
- Proficiency with computers, email communication, and basic office software
- Compassionate and client-focused attitude with a genuine desire to help improve quality of life for others
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary plus commission opportunities

Pay: $35,700.00-$92,634.71 per year
