Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils, supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant or hospitality establishment. This role is vital in maintaining a hygienic environment and supporting food service operations efficiently.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and kitchen areas
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients
- Ensure all food handling and kitchen safety protocols are followed
- Support the kitchen staff by providing clean dishes promptly during service hours
- Dispose of waste properly and keep work areas organized and sanitary
- Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold hygiene standards in compliance with regulations
Skills
- Experience in cleaning, food handling, or food service is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of restaurant or hotel kitchen operations is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of food preparation and cooking processes is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards hospitality services
