Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to ensure precise repairs and installations.
- Assist with vehicle inspections, heavy lifting tasks, and routine maintenance procedures to uphold safety standards.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete repair reports, and communicate findings clearly with team members.
- Support the shop’s workflow by assembling parts, performing routine checks, and ensuring all tools are properly maintained.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or mechanic experience demonstrating strong automotive repair skills.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with schematics, assembly, welding, and maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy components regularly while maintaining proper safety protocols.
