Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as ingredient prep and assembling dishes under supervision.
- Support the kitchen team by handling food handling procedures in accordance with safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to promote a hygienic environment.
- Help with meal preparation and food service tasks as needed to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours.
Skills
- Experience in restaurant or food service environments demonstrating familiarity with kitchen routines.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Ability to perform basic cooking and meal preparation tasks efficiently.
- Strong understanding of the food industry’s hygiene requirements and safety regulations.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues.
- Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen assistance is preferred but not required.
