Join our dynamic logistics team as a Material Handler and Forklift Operator! Duties
- Safely operate various types of forklifts, including counterbalance, Raymond Reach trucks and order pickers, to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
- Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly to move products and supplies efficiently and safely
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and update records accurately
- Assist in order picking processes by selecting items according to order specifications with speed and accuracy
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock, replenishing inventory, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to optimize storage solutions and improve overall warehouse workflow
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or material handling preferred
- Valid forklift certification with experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Strong basic math skills for inventory counting and measurement tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate order picking and inventory control

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed indoors in a manufacturing setting with regular exposure to cold, heat, noise, and moving machines/equipment.
