We are seeking a passionate Humanities Teacher specializing in Law (CLN4U), Philosophy, Psychology, and related subjects to join our dynamic team in Ontario. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape young minds and contribute to our school's commitment to academic excellence.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons in Law (CLN4U), Philosophy, Psychology, and other humanities subjects.
Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with educational standards.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies.
Support students' individual learning needs through tutoring and mentorship.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications
Proven classroom experience teaching humanities or social sciences.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learners.
Knowledge of educational technology and innovative teaching methods.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Humanities, or related field; teaching certification preferred.
Experience with special education needs is an asset.
