My Empower Therapy Pediatrics is seeking an additional OTA - Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team
Duties:
- Assist the Occupational Therapists/ BCBA with carrying out treatment programs/goals for clients daily
- Provide 1:1 and small group therapy
- Prepare assessment and treatment materials, handouts
- Conduct parent training sessions as needed
- Enhance daily living skills and abilities of our clients
Education:
Must possess relative education - Bache or Masters in OT and rehabilitation
Experience:
Minimum 1 year relevant experience required
Must be able to work across all My Empower clinics in surrey and Burnaby

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support our Registered Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering exceptional, evidence-based therapy to children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, speech and language disorders, and other neurodevelopmental needs.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver speech and language intervention under the supervision of a Registered SLP.
- Implement individualized therapy programs and document client progress.
- Support children with articulation, language, AAC, social communication, and early intervention goals.
- Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Behaviour Consultants, and families.
- Create engaging, child-centred therapy sessions that promote meaningful outcomes.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Experience working with children is preferred; autism and early intervention experience is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for helping children achieve their highest potential.
