THE OPPORTUNITY: Business Analyst - Digital Enablement
As Calgary Health Foundation's Business Analyst - Digital Enablement, you will collaborate across the organization to understand how work flows, improve processes, and introduce practical, user-friendly solutions that make a meaningful impact. While an immediate focus includes enhancing our SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams environment, future priorities will be identified through a forward-thinking approach to leveraging technology to enable optimization across the organization.
Key accountabilities of the role include:

Partner with teams to understand workflows, identify challenges, and recommend practical, scalable process improvements.

Gather requirements and facilitation internal and external collaboration to design and implement effective solutions.

Support and enhance the digital workplace, improving information management, collaboration, and user experience
-
Identify opportunities to leverage Microsoft 365, automation, and AI (e.g., Copilot, Power Platform) to streamline work and drive innovation.

Support end-to-end delivery of initiatives, including implementation, training, user guidance, and adoption support.

Continuously gather feedback and refine solutions to improve usability and effectiveness.

Enhance data access, reporting, and visibility, including contributing to simple dashboards and insights.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will partner with teams to understand workflows, improve processes, and deliver practical technology solutions that enhance efficiency and collaboration. With the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements, support solution delivery, and promote adoption, you continuously identifying opportunities to leverage tools, automation, and AI to improve how work gets done.
Additional qualifications:

Post-secondary education in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in business analysis, technology, or digital enablement roles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of improving workflows and systems.

Proven ability to work with stakeholders to define needs and deliver practical, value-driven solutions.

Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable business outcomes.

Experience with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform) and exposure to AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.

Experience supporting digital workplace or collaboration initiatives.

Demonstrated curiosity and interest in applying technology in practical ways, with excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP, or equivalent) preferred.

Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Blackbaud RE/FE NXT) and experience in non-profit environments preferred.

OTHER INFORMATION
It is expected that the starting salary for this position will be in the range of $80,000 - $95,000, aligned with the successful candidate's experience and skill set.
