CETTEC Printing is looking for a Part-Time Digital Print & Legal Document Production Operator to help produce legal, commercial, scanning, and document reproduction work in a deadline-focused print environment.

Legal printing experience is a strong asset, particularly with materials such as Books of Authorities, Factums, Appeal Records, Chambers Records, Affidavits, Exhibit Books, Application Records, and Trial Briefs.
The successful candidate does not need to know every legal document type on day one. However, they must be accurate, organized, dependable, comfortable following detailed instructions, and able to work calmly under deadlines.

- Prepare, print, copy, scan, collate, and finish legal and commercial documents
- Produce legal document sets such as Books of Authorities, Factums, Appeal Records, Chambers Records, Affidavits, Exhibit Books, Application Records, and Trial Briefs
- Use Adobe Acrobat to review and prepare PDF files for production

- Combine, split, rotate, organize, and prepare PDF files as required
- Perform loose-page and bound-document scanning
- Create and organize PDF files from scanned documents
- Complete OCR processing where required
- Check scanned files for missing pages, blank pages, skewed pages, image quality, legibility, and correct page order
- Follow detailed job tickets, client instructions, production notes, and deadlines
- Complete bindery and finishing work, including coil or spiral binding, Cerlox/GBC binding, drilling, stapling, cutting, folding, padding, and booklet finishing
- Assemble tabs, covers, slip sheets, volumes, binders, and copy sets accurately
- Review completed work for print quality, pagination, finishing, completeness, packaging, and delivery instructions
- Prepare completed work for pickup, courier, shipment, or delivery
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area
- Support rush and deadline-sensitive legal production work as required

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently once trained
- Comfortable handling confidential legal and client documents
- Available to work onsite in Vancouver during the scheduled hours
Strong Assets
- Digital printing, copy centre, or commercial print shop experience
- Adobe Acrobat experience, including combining, splitting, rotating, bookmarking, pagination, page order, tabs, file naming, and print settings
