Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Dispatcher within Bonnyville to coordinate transportation and logistics operations within our organization. Must have an knowledge of the Bonnyville and surrounding area. The ideal candidate will manage the manpower and equipment movements, communicate effectively with drivers and clients, and utilize various transportation management systems to ensure timely delivery, understanding of regulatory requirements to operate equipment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the seamless flow of manpower and equipment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with industry-specific software are essential for success in this position. Knowledge and understanding of the utility vegetation management requirement, transportation and hauling industry is a great asset.
Responsibilities
1. Demonstrate excellent punctuality.
2. Ensure to Employees are clock into the Company’s electronic
timesheet program upon arrival to work and clock out at the end of the day.
3. Have knowledge and understanding to work toward the business goals.
4. Create and maintain schedules for drivers, work crews, and
equipment sending them to their destinations with requested timelines.
5. Monitor the route and status of manpower.
6. Update drivers with information about traffic, obstacles and
requirements.
7. Answer calls, provide advice, and direct customers to the right
department as needed.
8. Ensure to maintain clear records of calls, deliveries, and direct/
organize logistics activities.
9. Maintain good communication with Management, Clients, Employees
and/or Subcontractors when managing multiple projects or customers at one time.
10. Work closely with Management, General Manager and Mechanics to
ensure the equipment and manpower needed is available.
11. Coordinate CVIP’s, di-electrics and other repairs with
Mechanics.
12. Ensure that special load permits such as oversize and overweight
etc. are applied for and received in time.
13. Assist with annual registration and prorating equipment.
14. Ensure trucks have up to date and accurate inspections, insurance,
registrations and required licenses.
15. Ensure company policies, procedures and regulations comply.
16. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
17. Other duties as required.

- May be required to work on weekends and to travel.

Education Requirements:
- High School diploma.
- 2-3 years of related work experience is an asset.
- Valid Driver's license
- Valid Class 1 drivers license is an asset
- Microsoft programs Word and Excel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,400.00-$83,500.00 per year
