As a Tool Crib Assistant at CIMS LP, you will be a key contributor towards CIMS success by supporting the effective and efficient management and maintenance of all equipment inventory for CIMS’ Eastern Division while embodying CIMS corporate values of Our People, Our Promise, Our Passion.
You will report to the Tool Crib Lead, and be accountable for:
- Supporting and utilizing the primary inventory management system Tool hound.
- Ensuring all equipment is available, tracked, logged and stored appropriately.
- Ensuring all equipment and tools are in safe working condition.
- Supporting the scheduled and non-scheduled tool and maintenance and repairs.
- Completing lawn care duties as required.
A successful candidate would be an individual who has:
- Experience in heavy industry, construction, or operations, production and/or maintenance in tool management, use or maintenance role.
- Working knowledge of inventory management systems, specifically Toolhound, would be an asset.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to manage in a high-paced work environment.
- Collaborative, self-starting, team player willing to work towards achieving the strategic goals of the company.
- Excellent English verbal & written communication skills.
Working conditions you can expect while performing your role include:
- Working within a shop environment.
- The requirement to lift up to 50lbs.
- May be required to work outside of normal work hours on occasion – 40 hours per week with occasional overtime requirements.
