Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Maintain product displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized
- Provides prompt and courteous customer service. Helps staff and customer to load large items into their cart, directs customers to products, relates product status knowledge
- Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs and assist with ordering
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping experience for all customers
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the grocery department, adhering to safety standards
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management
