API 6A Valve Technician
Position summary and essential responsibilities:
-Repair all valve equipment while maintaining high standards of production, documentation and safety
-Tear down, reassemble and troubleshoot valve equipment for repair in accordance with Company standards and procedures and follow Work Order specifications
-Maintain accurate database and documentation
-Record non-conformances as required
-Organize and maintain the work area, including maintenance of equipment, product storage containers and racking
Preferred Candidates will possess a combination of the following:
- 3 to 5 years of industry related experience
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of wellhead and API 6A gate valve equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in a team environment
