Sigma Cabinets is a growing custom cabinetry company specializing in high-end custom homes, renovations, and multi-family developments throughout Metro Vancouver.
We're looking for an experienced Kitchen Cabinet Designer to join our team. If you have experience in custom cabinetry, enjoy solving technical challenges, and want to be involved in a variety of residential projects, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise shop drawings for custom kitchen cabinetry and millwork
- Review drawings for accuracy and production readiness
- Prepare CNC nesting files using Mozaik Enterprise
- Generate cut lists and production documentation
- Assist with site measurements and field verification
- Work closely with the design, production, and installation teams
- Resolve technical drawing and construction details
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- Assist with project photography and marketing content when required
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in custom kitchen cabinetry or millwork
- Experience preparing shop drawings
- Experience preparing CNC nesting files using Mozaik
- Proficiency in SketchUp
- Good understanding of cabinet construction and manufacturing methods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid BC driver's licence and reliable transportation
Assets
- Experience with custom cabinets and residential millwork
- Knowledge of residential construction practices
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, photography, or social media content creation
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
