POSITION SUMMARY
- Candidates must have minimum of 2 years of experience as a Superintendent.
- Must be able to live on site (Location in downtown Toronto)
We are seeking a Superintendent to join our team based in Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring resident satisfaction, handling tenants requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner and assisting with renting vacancies to prospective tenants. Additionally, they will be expected to perform regular inspections of the building and its systems, respond to requests for repairs and maintenance and oversee contractors as necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
The list of duties and responsibilities and the frequency of such duties as outlined below is established as a minimum guideline. The requirements of such duties and frequency maybe subject to change to better suit the requirements of the building and /or the tenants of the building.
- Inspect and clean exterior areas for garbage and debris.
- Daily mop lobby, entranceways, elevators, and elevator landings.
- Daily empty garbage chutes and storage areas.
- Respond promptly to tenant repair requests (within 24 hours).
- Clean maintenance room, including laundry machines and garbage.
- Daily spot clean lobby, amenity areas, and walls/glass.
- Clean and refinish floors as needed.
- Change trash compactor bins and attend to spills.
- Maintain overall cleanliness inside and outside the building.
- Ensure an adequate supply of cleaning supplies.
- Clean and maintain vacant apartment units as directed.
- Assist with unloading delivery trucks.
- Organize supply, storage, and service rooms.
- Understand fire alarm system operation and procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by the property manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
