Laurier Electric is looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our team.
We are a growing electrical contractor specializing in commercial, institutional, and school board projects throughout Eastern Ontario. Our work includes schools, offices, public buildings, renovations, and new construction projects.
We're looking for someone with strong commercial construction experience who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with others, and wants to be part of a professional team.
For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to grow into a Lead Hand or Foreman role.

What You'll Do
- Install electrical systems on commercial and institutional projects
- Read and interpret construction drawings
- Coordinate work with other trades on site
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Assist with planning and organizing work activities
- Provide guidance to apprentices when required
What We're Looking For
- Commercial construction electrical experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings and specifications
- Leadership qualities and a professional attitude
- Willingness to travel to projects within Eastern Ontario
- Valid driver's licence
Assets
- 309A Certificate of Qualification
- Previous Lead Hand or Foreman experience
- Institutional or school project experience
- Lift, Working at Heights, WHMIS, or First Aid certifications
