Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Clean 5-Year Commercial Driver's Abstract
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Experience with chaining, tarping, and proper load securement
- Ability to maintain accurate ELD logs and complete required paperwork
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
Assets
- Cross-border experience (Canada/U.S.)
- Heavy haul and over-dimensional experience
- Shack or modular hauling experience
- Experience operating multi-axle equipment
Your Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain assigned equipment
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensure all loads are secured and transported safely
- Comply with all DOT, NSC, and Hours of Service regulations
- Work closely with dispatch to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Represent Freight North Carriers professionally with every customer
