Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full Time Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing food, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong time management skills, and experience in food service or related roles. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and recipes
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
- Manage cashier duties, including processing payments accurately and upselling menu items when appropriate
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained in all food handling activities
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with sanitation guidelines
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and teamwork
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with food preparation, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 pounds when necessary
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
