Auto Nation Inc. is growing, and we're looking for an experienced RV Technician to take ownership of our expanding service operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants the opportunity to help shape and grow a service department.
You'll be based in our dedicated service facility located just a few blocks from our head office. This secondary location will support the service department at our main dealership while specializing in larger project units, complex diagnostics, and longer-term repairs that require dedicated focus. If you enjoy tackling the jobs that other people shy away from, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, repair, maintain, and complete PDI inspections on a wide variety of RVs.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on electrical, plumbing, propane, appliance, HVAC, slide-out, and structural systems.
- Take ownership of larger project units and complex repairs that require critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Challenge yourself by working on complicated repairs that will continuously build your skills and expand your technical knowledge.
- Plan and prioritize your daily workload while managing multiple repair projects efficiently.
- Maintain detailed digital repair notes and communicate regularly with the Service Manager using our shop management software.
- Work independently while recognizing when collaboration is needed and proactively reaching out to the team for support.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while delivering high-quality workmanship.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3rd Year RV Apprentice (Journeyman preferred).
- Previous RV service and repair experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Someone who enjoys taking on challenging repairs and finding solutions.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision while staying accountable.
- Organized, efficient, and capable of planning your own day.
- Comfortable using technology to document repairs, communicate with the service team, and manage work orders.
- Confident enough to work independently but humble enough to ask for support when needed.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
Hours
Monday–Friday
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Compensation
- $35.00–$50.00 per hour, depending on experience.
