On behalf of our retail client, Procom is searching for a Senior Tester - SAP & Merchandising for a 9 month contract role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.
Senior Tester - SAP & Merchandising - Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Senior Testers to support a Large Transformation Program at our client. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and defect management within retail platforms such as SAP, MAWM, Blue Yonder, or GK POS, requiring a strong understanding of retail business cycles and system integrations.
Senior Tester - SAP & Merchandising - Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios
- Support Functional, SIT, E2E, Regression, and UAT
- Validate business processes across integrated retail systems and applications
- Participate in test readiness assessments and defect triage sessions
- Log, track, prioritize, and retest defects using Jira
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional business and technical teams
- Assist in test metrics reporting and testing documentation
Senior Tester - SAP & Merchandising - Mandatory Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing within enterprise environments
- 3+ years of retail experience
- Hands-on experience with SAP, MAWM, Blue Yonder, or GK POS
- Strong experience with test execution, defect management, and Jira
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
- Experience with SIT, UAT, and E2E testing
Senior Tester - SAP & Merchandising – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Experience working in Agile, Hybrid Agile, or Waterfall delivery environments
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, test management tools, or release management processes
- Exposure to enterprise integrations and middleware platforms
- Knowledge of supply chain, merchandising, and/or marketing & omnichannel processes/systems
