Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Line Marker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for marking lines and boundaries on roads, parking lots, sports fields, and other surfaces to ensure proper layout and safety. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and experience with heavy equipment operation. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects within the construction industry, contributing to the successful completion of infrastructure and development projects.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as line stripers, spray machines, and other paving tools to accurately mark lines on various surfaces
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and ensuring they are ready for marking activities
- Apply paint, thermoplastic, or other marking materials with precision according to project specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout the job site
- Assist with paving and other construction tasks as needed
- Read and interpret project plans and diagrams to ensure accurate line placement
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
Experience
- Prior experience in heavy equipment operation, paving, or construction is preferred
- Knowledge of line marking techniques and materials is a plus
- Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Familiarity with safety standards related to construction sites and equipment use
