Askew’s Foods is currently looking for a reliable and customer-focused Meat Clerk to join our team.
The successful candidate will assist with a variety of duties in the Meat Department, including packaging, stocking, merchandising, customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.
Responsibilities Include:
- Packaging and wrapping meat products
- Stocking and rotating product displays
- Assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Following food safety procedures
- Assisting Meat Cutters and department staff as required
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or meat department experience is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
