Caregiver- ( Monday- Friday, 11 am- 5 pm )
Compassion Homecare Services is currently seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide companionship and light homemaking support for a dementia client in the High Level area.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
11 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate:
$20.00 per hour
Location:
This position is located approximately 25 minutes outside of town. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required. A monthly mileage allowance of $120 will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Engage client in conversation and meaningful activities
- Assist with light homemaking duties as needed
- Ensure client comfort and safety during visits
- Report any concerns or changes to the care team
Requirements:
- Experience working with seniors or clients with dementia is an asset
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to work independently
- Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check required
