Director, Facility Operations; Assistant Chief Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY:
Join our Facilities Team and help keep our Club running at its best. As a Power Engineer 4th Class, you’ll take care of day-to-day building operations, handle maintenance and repairs and support department teams across the Club.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate Zamboni and maintain ice surfaces.
- Run and maintain building systems (e.g. ammonia plant, HVAC, pumps, etc.)
- Perform general repairs (e.g. mechanical, plumbing, basic electrical)
- Handle preventative maintenance and day-to-day facility needs.
- Support events and general operations as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Power Engineer 4th Class designation required.
- Experience in facilities, arenas or building operations preferred but will train suitable candidate.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Ice making and or pool operator certification an asset.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Demonstrated ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
