About the Job
As a Haul Truck Driver, you’ll operate powerful, heavy quarry trucks in a fast-paced production environment. This role is essential to keeping materials moving safely and efficiently throughout our quarry operations. You’ll work 40–50 hours per week, with afternoon and Saturday shifts as required based on production needs. Working at our Severn Quarry in Orillia, On
Wage: $28.55 per hour
What You’ll Be Doing
Performing and documenting daily pre-operational inspections on assigned haul trucks
Completing general maintenance including greasing, fluid checks, and top-ups
Reporting repair needs to your Supervisor to ensure safe equipment operation
Operating equipment efficiently to reduce cycle times and minimize downtime
Following all company safety policies and procedures
Wearing required PPE at all times outside the operator station
Adhering to posted speed limits across quarry, pit, and construction sites
Here’s What You Need
Experience operating 70ton rigid frame trucks (Cat or Volvo preferred)
A valid G License in good standing
Surface Miner Common Core (considered an asset)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to assist with processing equipment or other mobile equipment as needed
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
