Happy Gallon Painting is a growing, quality focused painting company established in 2024. We specialize in high-end residential projects, mostly new construction and renovations. Our focus is on delivering exceptional work, with the end-product and longevity in mind, while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
The Opportunity
We're looking to bring on someone who wants to get into the painting industry and progress their skills. Who has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn . The opportunity is open to painters seeking full-time or part-time work.
Duties
- Ability to learn new tasks both repetitive and detail oriented.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, masking, filling, scraping, sanding and caulking as needed
- Keen eye for detail when learning to prime, paint and back roll.
- Operate ladders, hand tools, and power tools safely.
- Maintaining clean, organized and professional job sites
- Reliable transportation to get to and from jobsites on time, in the Greater Victoria area
- Working independently and alongside a small team
What We're Looking For
- 0-3 years of painting experience (interior or exterior)
- New construction experience is a plus but not required
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn, improve, and take constructive feedback
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance appropriate for working in a high-end residential environment
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
