Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, restaurant management, and team leadership. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and guest satisfaction while managing staff and operational procedures efficiently.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen activities
- Lead and motivate a team of staff members, including interviewing and training new employees
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Oversee food industry standards, including food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation practices
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Implement effective team management strategies to foster a positive work environment
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service flow
- Maintain operational records, including sales reports and labor schedules
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Supervising experience in a hospitality or food industry setting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and conduct interviewing processes
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience in restaurant experience, hospitality, or hotel industry is preferred
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and restaurant management software
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
